Expertise

In addition to academic research projects, CICS is very active in providing expert advice and policy research aimed at contributing to national, regional and international policies. Staff at CICS, and their other colleagues in Peace Studies, are internationally recognized for their expertise and contributions to regional and international negotiations and to the development and implementation of international co-operation and assistance programmes. In this context, they are regularly asked to work with a wide range of governments, regional and international organisations and non-governmental organisations.
Since 2002, CICS staff have continued to advise and facilitate official conferences, and/or provided expert reports and/or consultancy services for a variety of actors, including:
