Started in 1998 CompPro is an EPSRC sponsored network of 13 academic and 8 industrial centers, addressing the use of computer modeling as applied to polymer processing. Based throughout the UK, the scope of the network covers polymer processing analyses in both melt and solid phases as well as the experimental techniques required for model validation and constitutive model construction.

The network has held a succession of both private and open meetings, appearing at the Materials Congress 2000 conference. Minutes from these meetings can be found within the diary section of this site whilst detailed information on individual modeling projects are described within the software and interest areas.
