A project to strengthen the information infrastructure of the conflict resolution field. Contains extensive information about alternative dispute resolution, organisations in the field, networking, and literature.

Center for Information Technology and Dispute Resolution
Resources and research about online dispute resolution, particularly legal issues in cyberspace such as disputes over online auctions and domain names.

Diplomacy@Information.Technology
A project at the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies in Malta concerned with applications of IT in diplomacy and international affairs, particularly in education and knowledge management. Includes distance learning courses in IT and Diplomacy, publications and other information.

GINIE (Global Information Networks in Education)
A 'virtual learning community' for education in conflict- or crisis-affected areas. Includes curricular materials, networking and information-sharing tools for educational professionals working internationally.

USIP Virtual Diplomacy
An initiative by the United States Institute of Peace to to explore the role of information and communications technologies (ICTs) in the  conduct of diplomacy, particularly their effect upon international conflict management and resolution. Includes publications, conferences, mailing lists and grant information.

An organisation that promotes innovation, excellence, and public information in the area of  conflict resolution education. Includes annotated bibliographies, curriculum resources and other information.

Consortium on Peace Research, Education, and Development (COPRED)
A network of educators and activists with links, newsletters, educational materials and an annual listing of peace and conflict resolution programmes at colleges and universities worldwide.

Educators For Social Responsibility
Contains information on ESR's conflict resolution, violence prevention and other programmes for school-age young people and an online store for ordering from their extensive publications list.

Peace and Conflict Homepage
Provided by the University of Colorado, Boulder. Comprehensive site with discussion groups, course listings, organisation listings and other resources.

Peacebuilder Ezine
A site with areas for educators and youth involved in peace and conflict resolution in schools. Includes articles, lesson plans and commentary.

Promoting Tolerance Through Understanding
Built by a teacher, this includes syllabi and other information on a successful tolerance education class in San Clemente, California.

National Center for Conflict Resolution Education
A training and technical assistance organisation for schools setting up mediation, violence prevention or other conflict resolution programmes.

School Mediation Associates
Provides information, consulting and resources for school-based mediation programmes.

The Third Side
From the Project on Preventing War at Harvard University. An inspirational site about preventing, resolving and containing violent conflict at all levels from family to workplace to internationally. Includes resources and curricula.

Active Learning
Archived (1994-1999) issues of refereed journal about learning technologies. Each issue centred on a specific theme and included academic papers, case  studies and opinions, as well as reviews and conference reports.

Learning Technology Dissemination Initiative (LTDI)

Virtual Resource Site for Teaching with Technology
Offered by the University of Maryland University College, contains a guided tour of virtual classrooms throughout cyberspace, highlighting a range of interactive components that educators can use in their own online courses.
