Undergraduate
The breadth of our undergraduate courses opens up a wide choice of careers,
from accountancy to advertising and from recreation management to retailing.
Whatever your choice, you will find that the practical orientation of our courses,
and our reputation for excellence, will help you to find the right job for you.
The specialist staff and dedicated resources of our well-equipped careers service,
on the main University of Bradford campus, help to ensure that "Making
Knowledge Work" is more than just a slogan at Bradford.
More than 90 per cent of our graduates are in work or further study within
six months of graduating, according to recent figures.
Postgraduate
We
have a dedicated postgraduate career-development adviser on site at the School
of Management. Contact Lorraine Lucas (L.Lucas@bradford.ac.uk)
We offer informal and practical seminars and skill workshops, presented by
careers advisers or graduate recruiters, which cover all aspects of the job-seeking
process.
We organise a range of events, focusing on recruitment, careers information
and job-seeking skills.
We advertise recruiters' job vacancies to current students and alumni on our
postgraduate web-based jobs board.
The University of Bradford's careers website, at www.careers.brad.ac.uk,
contains details of job opportunities and events, links to careers sites and
lots more. It is updated at least weekly.
Our commitment to you does not stop at graduation. We will be on hand to provide
the support and resources you need to manage your career throughout your working
life.
Employers
Employers can find information about recruiting
our students (including the searchable MBA
directory), and about proposing projects
(by online or paper-based methods) for MBA students, on the Business
Services pages.
