Career development - MSc
Information on occupations, employers, job-search skills and other relevant
topics can be found on the ground floor of the Cartwright building and at the
Career Development Service at the main University of Bradford campus. Most of
the information can be accessed electronically at www.careers.bradford.ac.uk
(opens new window).
- Resources
The information room at the main University of Bradford campus offers details
on occupations, employers, job-search skills and other relevant topics. Most
of the information can also be accessed electronically via the Careers Service
web site.
- Employer presentations
Employers target Bradford to recruit graduates. They will often do a presentation
and then hold interviews on campus. Other employer events are designed to
give students insights into particular occupations/industry sectors. The Careers
Service web site lists all such University/local/national events.
- Guest presentations
These help to improve your understanding of the job market and the qualities
employers seek. We draw speakers for these highly-regarded events from employers,
recruitment consultants and Bradford alumni.
Guest speakers
- Semester 2a - Book a place
- Services to recruiters
We offer a variety of services to recruiters including advertising their job
vacancies to current students and alumni.
If you want to succeed, you must take responsibility and manage your own career.
We aim to provide the support and resources to enable you to do this.
