Membership is open to all companies interested in the topic through the payment of an annual fee and the signing of a participation agreement.

Participation Agreement

This Agreement is made between the University of Bradford, Bradford BD7 1DP, ("the University") and ("the Company")

The PROFITS Special Interest Group is to be formed to facilitate the beneficial adoption of intelligent software to achieve improvement in product formulation for members of the group. The University will provide the the services as indicated in Appendix I.

Membership of the Group will be open to organisations interested in the topic area through the payment of an annual fee of £10k. New members will have to provide this commitment for two years. Services available to members are indicated in Appendix II.

Confidentiality and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)

Confidentiality and IPR will not normally be an issue of concern as most of the information concerning the Group's activity will be in the public domain. The two exceptions to this may be pilot/prototype development and consultancy. In these cases where appropriate, respective bi-lateral confidentiality and IPR Agreements will be put in place before any work is undertaken.

Steering Committee

Work of the Group will be guided by a Steering Committee made up of members and chaired by a senior academic from the University. It is intended that the Steering Committee will meet on average twice a year.
