The Genomics Monitor is a regular report which provides updated information and analysis on developments in the international regulations relevant to the control of the biotechnology revolution, highlighting connections and raising awareness of the scope and limitations of the current regulations in this area. The most recent issue - Issue 10, September 2009 includes a section on development and the international regulation of biotechnology.

Background and supporting information
The Gateway also provides a written overview and brief history of the biotechnology (genomics) revolution and of the connections between the organisations and documents; and an issues page which covers biotechnology issues that have been in the news. You may also be interested in the Genomics Policy and Research Forum, based at the University of Edinburgh, which aims to encourage public debate on the social and economic aspects of genomics. |
