Lecture on South Asian earthquake

On Monday 30 January 2006, the University of Bradford will be hosting a public lecture by Baroness Emma Nicholson, the founder of the AMAR (Assisting Marsh Arabs and Refugees).

Baroness Nicholson will talk about AMAR’s ongoing work to help those affected by the South Asian earthquake in October 2005 which killed over 40,000 people and injured over 65,000 leaving three million people homeless. She will also take questions from the floor.
