Wednesday 22 November 11.00 - 2.00, Pemberton Foyer SSIS are holding a Coffee Morning in memory of Cathy Chapman to raise funds for Macmillan Nurses and Cancer Research.
Tea/coffee, home-made cakes and biscuits will be on sale. Handmade cards, many of which Cathy made to raise money, will also be on sale.
Please come along and support this event, alternatively donations can be made in the Bradford Centre for International Development (BCID) throughout the week.
Cathy had worked at the University for 12 years, firstly on the 'mobile reserve' in various departments of the University, moving to the Department of Applied Social Studies nine years ago and for the past six years as Secretary in the Bradford Centre for International Development, in the School of Social and International Studies.
Cathy was an enthusiastic, committed, team player who always had the welfare of the students and the University at heart.
The Coffee Morning was something Cathy was planning but sadly didn't get the opportunity to organise.
