What does COHESION mean?

On Wednesday 13 December 2006 the Centre for Community Engagement is holding a seminar to look at what the term 'cohesion' means and how the University’s Community Associate is defining this area of work.

Cohesion can be a controversial and confusing term, it means different things to different people. Come and find out how the University of Bradford's Community Associate for Cohesion is defining this area of work.

To launch the second phase of the University's Centre for Community Engagement there will also be an explanation of what engagement means in a Higher Education (HE) context.

Plus there will be mince pies and barfi.

Who’s it for?

This event will be held on Wednesday 12 December 2006 between 4pm and 5.30pm in the Sanderson Room, in the Richmond Building. For details about this location, please see our map of the main campus. The seminar will be useful for anyone working/studying at the University of Bradford who is interested in issues of equality, diversity and how people get on with each other.

To book a place or for more information please telephone Lisa Cumming - 01274 23 4173 (only after Tuesday 28 November). Alternatively you can also email Lisa (l.f.cumming@bradford.ac.uk) at the Programme for a Peaceful City.
