Richard Millett is Emeritus Professor of History at Southern Illinois University, and this academic year he is based in Denmark as Distinguished Fullbright Professor at the Copenhagen Business School. He was an advisor on foreign policy to the Carter administration and has continued to work with former President Carter. His critical analysis of US foreign and security policies has been disseminated in a over 100 publications including Guardians of the Dynasty (1978), Restless Caribbean (1979), Searching for Panama (1994), and Beyond Praetorianism (1996).
