Applying to The Green - Halls of Residence

If you would like to live in University managed halls of residence, it is best to apply as soon as you have accepted your course offer to avoid disappointment in your choice of room type.

Accommodation for new international students, who are definitely going to study at the University, is guaranteed, providing their accommodation application form is received by the Wednesday 14 August 2013.

you do apply late the Accommodation Team will do their very best to find accommodation.

What happens next?

When we receive your application an offer of accommodation will be made to you and all documents sent to you via e-mail. On accepting the offer you will be required to make an advanced rent payment of £250, this secures your room for your arrival, and this is then deducted from the total accommodation charges 

Rent payments can be made in full before or on arrival, or in three instalments in October, January and April.
