Bike to Work Week

16th - 24th June 2007

The events below are occurring for Bike to Work Week 2007. All events are free of charge and there are events for all levels, from beginners sessions through to a morning ride in from Keighley to the University of Bradford main Campus.

If you would like to take part but do not feel confident cycling on your own at all email uni-cyclist@Bradford.ac.uk to find a Bike Buddy who lives close to you.

Bike Maintenance Sessions in the lead up to Bike to Work Week

Get your bike in good condition for Riding

5th, 7th, 13th June. 12.30 - 1.30pm. These will take place in the Engineering workshops

Monday 18th June

Free beginners spinning sessions at Richard Dunn Gym: 12.15 - 1pm. 15 places available on first come first served basis

Tuesday 19th June

Lunchtime Maintenance sessions at Douglas Mill and Jacobs Well

Beginners Cycle Training Session at the University. 4 - 7pm. Shearbridge Green Car Park and possible local roads

Wednesday 20th June

Beginners Event. Have a go at cycling in Lister Park 12 - 2pm

Free beginners spinning sessions at Richard Dunn Gym. 12.15 - 1pm. 15 places available on first come first served basis

Thursday 21st June

Intermediate Event. Have a go at Cycling on road. Centenary Square to Lister Park and Back. 12.30 - 1.30pm

Friday 22nd June

Advanced Event. Meet at Keighley Railway Station, time to be confirmed, cycle in picking people up along the way, free breakfast for University staff and students at the University.
