Conference Aims and Objectives:
Energy Saving is a crucial issue for all in the University and something we need to address rapidly.
This event is intended to be informative and participatory to seek views on what can be done and needs to be done in our different work areas. The focus of this conference is to explore ways in which we can address energy and carbon reduction issues in the University in a way in which we all take some responsibility.
The conference will also inform about the staff Green Champion project and a new interactive forum to develop a more responsive approach between building occupants and Estates in areas related to heating, cooling and ventilation.
Who Can Attend?
Staff:
This event is open to University of Bradford staff and students. All Deans, Directors, DVC and the Vice Chancellor have been invited to attend.
Deans and Directors have been asked to nominate staff in their School/Directorate. If you are a member of staff working within the Carbon and Energy agenda and are interested in registering for the conference, please contact your Dean/Director/Head of Department in the first instance.
Students:
We aim to get student representation from each Academic School in the University. Students interested in attending the conference should email ecoversity@bradford.ac.uk
Your input and opinions matter! This is your opportunity to feed into an issue which is of high priority for the University of Bradford.
Nominated staff names will be forwarded to the Ecoversity team for registration..
Students can email Ecoversity direct to register their interest.
Note: we have places for a maximum of 8 students from each Academic School.
Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
