Ecoversity: Learning & Skills

Informal Curriculum

The informal curriculum refers to a range of learning opportunities, influences or experiences  which a University can support or influences outside the formal structures and procedures of course or degree programme  Within Ecoversity we have 3 discrete informal curriculum projects: student ambassadors, student internships and actioneering.

Ecoversity student ambassadors 2008-09.In every case we seek to provide students with opportunities to engage, initiate or be involved with events, projects, activities or decision-making under Ecoversity to support their learning about aspects of  ESD.

In 2009 we are providing students with an opportunity to gain an Ecoversity citizenship award which they can achieve by undertaking or amassing a range of experiences and providing a reflection of their learning as a result of their experiences.

Take a look at our Student pages for more information regarding Ambassador, Intern and Actioneer work.
