EcoversityThe quality of physical and social spaces and the shape, form and content of those spaces offers the scope for an outdoor classroom to support student understanding and learning about ESD. For example many students are interested in renewable energy. Our campus has a number of renewable energy projects but only a few people are aware of them.
The physical curriculum is a way of communicating and explaining aspects campus design, technologies or decisions to illustrate and offer practical learning opportunities.
We are currently creating a campus learning trail which will identify and communicate different recent and current projects on campus.
Further information about the various energy projects being undertaken can be accessed here....
