REDUCE - REUSE - RECYCLE Day :

20th November 2008- 11.30am - 2.30pm, Atrium.

The new recycling system has seen a significant rise in our overall recycling rates - in August we recycled 67% of all the waste that the University generates. This is up from about 25% a year ago and makes us one of the best in the sector.

On the 17th November the entire University of Bradford will switch to a new building based recycling scheme which requires that all desk bins are removed. This will further increase our recycling rate but will also move us into an era of waste minimisation - we want to reduce the waste we produce in the first place.

Event Information and Programme
