EcoversityThe University is keen to develop strong links with the local community and industry to ensure the development of the sustainable student village.
Regionally, we are exploring partnerships with key institutions such as Bradford Metropolitan District Council; Bradford Vision; Bradford Centre Regeneration Company; Yorkshire Forward; and the Yorkshire and Humber Assembly.
Nationally and internationally, we are seeking financial and collaborative support from the Higher Education Funding Council for England; Learning and Skills Council; Department for Education and Skills; and the European Union.
The University is especially keen to explore partnering with industry and commerce, and we very much welcome and will be actively seeking partners who wish to showcase their environmental technologies or use the village as a research testbed for their emerging products.
This kind of partnering and sponsorship of parts of the 'real estate' is an integral part of North American University life. At the University we want to follow this model wherever we can, and be proud of our partners and tell the world about them and how they contribute to us and the excellence that we strive to achieve.
