Targets - Energy and Water

Objective 1:
Improve energy and water management thus reducing consumption.

 

Groups Responsible:

Department of Estates and Facilities.
Ecoversity Carbon Energy Task Group.

Targets for Academic Year 2009 - 2010.

Reduce non-residential water consumption by 2.5%*
Continue to purchase a minimum of 70% Climate Change Levy exempt green electricity.
Reduce non-residential carbon emissions by 2.5% annually from 2007/8 - 2011/12.**

* per m2 GIA. Based on 2007/8 baseline of 0.535 m3 / m2 GIA.

** per m2 GIA. Based on 2007/8 baseline of 0.074 Tonnes Carbon / m2 GIA.
