Reduce, Re-use, Recycle Task Group

What is the Group for?

The Reduce, Re-use, Recyle Task Group is focusing on using the waste hierarchy to minimise the waste produced at the University of Bradford and what goes to landfill. This work includes looking at re-use options and managing the roll out of the major new recycling system. Specific projects include:

Re-invigorating the surplus@bradford system to allow furniture to by
re-used effectively.
Setting up an online 'freecycle' style site for staff and students to re-use each others wate materials.
Manage an end of term re-use programme for students leaving for the summer.
