The Women's Staff Forum

The Women’s Staff Forum provides a supportive meeting space for women staff from all levels and grades of the University to discuss issues relating to women staff at the University.

The aim of the forum is to:

Provide a supportive networking environment for women staff;
Influence the University’s Equality and Diversity Strategy;
Act as a consultative body to the University on matters relating to women;
Build on the existing skills of women within the institution by enhancing training and career development;
Identify and combat elements of discrimination in relation to women’s equality;
Identify role models in order to inspire the creation of future women leaders;
Celebrate the success of women achievements.

The Forum has representation on the University’s Equality and Diversity Committee, this is one of the main committees which leads into Senate and Council.
