MISSED CONTRACEPTIVE PILL
This missed pill guideline will help you work out what you need to do if you have forgotten to take one of your contraceptive pills at the normal time or on the normal day

take the delayed

Take the missed pill straight away. Take further pills as usual

Use extra contraceptive precautions (i.e. condoms) for the next 7 days
 
If more than one pill was missed, take the last of the missed pills now, and the next pill on time

If the missed pills were all from the first 7 of the pack and you had unprotected sexual intercourse you may need emergency contraception as well

Take further pills as usual
