DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS - (01274) 234979
Surgery times vary, see the table below. Routine appointments are for 10 minutes duration. To ensure continuity of care try to see the same doctor for ongoing problems if possible

If you need to see a doctor within 24 hours we will usually be able to do this, but you may not be able to choose a particular doctor. We ask that if you no longer need an appointment please telephone and cancel it, so the time can be offered to another patient

NURSE APPOINTMENTS - (01274) 234979
Nurse appointments are available throughout the day, Monday to Friday

CHAPERONE POLICY
When you are seeing the doctor or nurse you may be offered a chaperone for certain examinations. This is in line with national guidance to support and protect us all, and all our staff have been fully trained in this role. Any patient can request a chaperone; it will not affect their treatment. A doctor or nurse may request a chaperone but will always discuss this with you and you may, of course, refuse. If you would like to discuss the role of chaperones, please ask the doctor or nurse

TELEPHONE ADVICE - (01274) 234979
If you need to speak to a doctor or nurse for medical advice please telephone (01274) 234979 during working hours. If a doctor or nurse is not available we will ask you to call back (for example the doctor will not usually be able to speak to you if already consulting in surgery)

HOME VISITS - (01274) 234979
If you feel there is a need for a home visit please telephone before 10.30am. Home visits are strictly for patients who are seriously ill and whose medical condition prevents them from attending the surgery. The doctor will need to talk to the patient to assess the severity of the problem

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES - (01274) 234979
Please telephone the surgery on (01274) 234979. Genuine medical emergencies will always be accommodated
