Amar Latif's project resulted in the launch of the Consortia of Ethnic Minority Organisations (COEMO) in Bradford. Left to right: Amar Latif with Lord Mayor Councillor Ghazanfer Khaliq, and Amars' Tutor, Jack Bradley. The aim of the scheme is to build an infrastructure for the black and ethnic minority voluntary sector in Bradford, to build a broad base membership to develop networks for the exchange of skills and informatio n. Amar developed the project before publicising the initiative to all ethnic minority groups in Bradford, including Jewish, Polish and Ukranian, at a special launch event at the Carlisle Business Centre, in Bradford.
