MANAGEMENT OF RECOVERY WORK AFTER DISASTERS Stephen Wearne, Professor Emeritus of Technological Management, has received a grant from the EPSRC for research on the lessons of planning and controlling the engineering recovery work needed after the recent flooding and rail disasters in this country. Professor Stephen Wearne, said: "The aim of the research is to compare the needs and lessons of planning and controlling such unexpected work compared to theory and practice in planning and controlling normal public and commercial projects. "The objective is to draft
a generic guide and check lists for organisations and individuals who
may be faced with the tasks of managing the work needed for recovery from
future disasters." N&V home | N&V December home | Welcome | Contents | Events | Comments | Corp Comms Home | Uni Home |
