'Practical Pharmaceutical Calculations', written by the School's Dr Michael Bonner and Dr David Wright, is one of the key set texts for the Pharmacy course and is on the reading list for students from the first-year through to the final-year.

This is the second-year-running that Lloydspharmacy, which has more than 1300 branches nation-wide, has made the donation. This year the pharmacy chain also made an additional donation of 60 copies of Martindale for the reference library of the University.

Head of Pharmacy Practice at the University, Professor Henry Chrystyn, said: "The donation of these books is very generous and will make a huge difference to students who have numerous books to buy over the duration of the course."
