SCHOLARSHIPS ATTRACT HIGH QUALITY STUDENTS

Vice-Chancellor Professor Chris Taylor with the recipients of the scholarshipsThe University of Bradford Scholarships attract high quality applicants to many of our courses. With over 600 applicants from 43 countries, there was very strong competition for the 20 scholarships offered. The awards were made on the grounds of academic merit and are worth half the overseas tuition fee.

At a special ceremony to award the students their scholarship certificates, Vice-Chancellor, Professor Chris Taylor, told the students: "Bradford supports students in a number of ways and this is one example of that. There were over 600 applicants for 20 scholarships, which demonstrates that the quality of applicants was very high. You are obviously in the top three per cent of this and you should be rightly proud of that."
