Invitation to join MRC Advisory Board

Professor Brenda Costall, of the School of Pharmacy, has been asked to join the Medical Research Council (MRC) Advisory Board.

The responsibilities for the post include scientific assessment of applications for funding from the MRC, provision of expert review in own scientific field and the assessment of applications for MRC fellowships and Career Establishment and Innovation Grants.

The board also provides the strategic steer for the MRC.
