Astrazeneca Awards

Dr John Foster, from AstraZeneca Alderley Park, recently met students in the Department of Biomedical Sciences who were recipients of a ten-week Vacation Student Fellowship and a Travel Award from AstraZeneca.

Nicola Bonsu, supervised by Dr Martin Brinkworth, received the Vacation Student Fellowship and Sobia Kauser, supervised by Dr Desmond Tobin, received the Travel Award.

During the visit, Nicola produced a scientific report and gave a verbal presentation while Sobia spoke of the three posters she displayed at a meeting in America.
