Students line-up for Headstart
Course
Pictured below are
Year-11 and 12 students who took part in the University's Headstart Residential
Course, organised by the Royal Academy of Engineering for high-achieving
students.
The event, covered
in September's News & Views, offers participants the chance to gain hands-on
experience in Engineering, Design and Technology. It gives them an insight
into what professional engineers do, the different engineering disciplines
available as career options and a taste of University life.
Also pictured are
the student helpers with organisers Joanne Crowther and Jack Bradley from
the School of Engineering, Design and Technology.
