Instructions for making announcements

To All Staff

  1. Send an email to briefing@bradford.ac.uk with the words 'for the briefing' in the header
  2. Include the information you would like to go in the briefing. This can include word attachments, pdf files or other web links (URLs)
  3. Alternatively, telephone ext 6529 with the details or call into Richmond Building room D19.
  4. Deadline for entries into the following week's briefing is 12 noon every Friday.

To other lists

At present the lists are restricted to just a few people sending messages out. This will be kept under review.

Send your proposed message to mis-servicedesk@bradford.ac.uk

  1. read it carefully before you send it
  2. make sure that it is exactly what you want to send
  3. there is no way to 'unsend' a message
  4. DO NOT attach anything
  5. DO NOT insert graphics
  6. keep it simple - some mail clients cannot deal with special fonts or text formatting.
