Welcome to the October edition of the University's News & Views magazine.

As well as the usual news, people and research stories, we report on a number of exciting developments at the University recently.

These include progress over the summer on the Estates Strategy, and a number of new key appointments.

The Research Office and Business Services & Regional Development are to be combined to form Research, Innovation & Knowledge Transfer Support (RIKTS).

As part of the launch of the new Corporate Strategy, Vice-Chancellor Professor Chris Taylor will be conducting a series of talks with Schools and Departments over the next few months. The full timetable of talks is listed here.

News & Views is always on the lookout for more research and other stories from departments. Contact Rachael Ellis on r.ellis1@bradford.ac.uk or call 01274 (23)3084.
