Bolling Hall is a very attractive
building from the outside and I am sure it is well worth a visit, however
I would not recommend going on a Monday as I did, as it is open Wednesday
through to Sunday every week. The gardens are very pleasant to sit and
have lunch.
Apparently it houses a beautiful
collection of 17th Century furniture and I have heard that inside it contains
a haunted room.
The Guidebook
says . . .
A largely 17th century manor
house incorporating a tudor pele tower, with a wing altered in the late
18th century. Splendid collection of 17th century oak furniture, and large
windows with stained glass coats of arms."
