The ACMG is a conflict analysis and monitoring group that meets weekly at the JEFCAS. Participants in the group are responsible for countries or themes of focus and will normally be expected to provide a weekly oral briefing on significant developments in their respective focus areas. The purpose of the ACMG is to provide an opportunity for all students and staff to discuss on-going events across the Continent, share information and analysis, as well as explore the development of policy and response options relevant to a variety of different actors on the ground. With a view to structuring the work and functioning of the ACMG, participants engage and reflect on conflict analysis methodologies, scenario-building and policy option formulation.
