Study

By being part of School of Social and International Studies, JEFCAS provides its students with an opportunity to study various African courses in a highly interdisciplinary and diverse academic environment. Especially close cooperation between staff and students from the departments of Peace Studies and Development and Economic Studies allows for an exchange of expertise and experience that is crucial for a comprehensive discussion of issues which affect the African Continent.

Next to the regular format of lecture delivery, students have a unique practical opportunity to engage with the African environment by spending two weeks in an African country during an official visit organized by the JEFCAS.

Formal, official studying is also supported by a number of additional activities ranging from official seminars to study groups that run activities almost every week throughout the academic year.
