Honorary Graduates

The University of Bradford confers an Honorary Degree at each of its award ceremonies throughout the academic year.

A member of the University's staff presents the Honorary Graduand to the Chancellor. He or she will be an individual who has made a particular contribution in a field which is of academic interest to the University or which reflects the University's core values and mission. Often the Honorary Graduand has local connections.

The award of an Honorary Degree is recognition by the University of the contribution that the individual has made to academic life or to society at large.
