Our BSc degree in Archaeology offers a broad background in practical and interpretative skills, and former students have become field archaeologists, cultural resource managers, university lecturers and even accountants! We offer a number of clear pathways, which will provide you with a specialism in, for example, European Archaeology or in Cultural Resource Management. You are, of course, free to develop your own interests and you will be able to select options which range in geography from the Atlantic Ocean to the Indian Ocean, in date from Early Prehistory to the modern day, in practical application from Geophysical Prospection to Conservation, and in theme from the Archaeology of Contact to the close relationship between archaeology and politics!
