Since Bradford was named 'Curry Capital' in 2004, it seemed only right to have a 'Curry Banquet'. This will be held at Omar Khan's and will cost £16. If you wish to attend, please make sure you check the box on the registration form. Please also state any dietary requirements or if you would prefer non-asian food and Omar Khan's will do their best to accommodate everyone.
Monday 1st September
As an addition to the main conference dinner, we have a second 'night out' at a local pub. Old Glen House in nearby Baildon was voted 'Best food pub in Yorkshire & Humberside' in 2006. This will be a buffet-style meal of roast meats and vegetables (vegetarian option available). This meal will cost £18. Coach travel to and from the venue has been arranged at the additional charge of £5. Unfortunately numbers are limited so if you wish to attend, please make sure you check the box on the registration form. Please also state any dietary requirements.
Tuesday 2nd September
The visit will be of low cost, using the local train link and will include a visit to the current excavations at Hungate, the Jorvik Viking Centre and the Minster. You will be responsible for train fare (minimal cost of a few pounds), entrance fees and pub lunch or similar. Please check the box on the registration form if you wish to take part in this trip.
