Brief Course Description

This five-day course covers the basic principles of stable light isotope biogeochemistry, for isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen and sulphur, and their use as natural abundance tracers.  It is meant as a basic theoretical and practical grounding that covers the gamut of the field but also relevant examples and some practical guidance.  The course consists of a series of lectures by experts, reading material, exercises, and sessions in our mass spectrometry laboratories.
