Curry

It's almost impossible to mention Bradford without mentioning curry!

Bradford won the title of Curry Capital of England in 2010 so its standards are amongst the best in Britain.

Around the University you can find everything from scarily-large naan breads at Omar Khan's to Harrod's-bound curries at Mumtaz and everything in between! And there is something for every budget - with most places offering a 10 - 20% student discount when you show your SU card.

Try something new - there's plenty to try!

Award-winning eateries include:

Prashad

The Vegetarian Chaat House, Horton Grange Road, Bradford. Prashad serves fantastic vegetarian food in comfortable surroundings. Yorkshire Forward Chef of the Year 2004 and 2006, and Kaushy Patel - South Asian Chef (SACC) in 2005 and 2006 and runner up in 'Ramsay's Best Restaurant' 2010!

Aagrah Restaurants

One of the best Indian restaurants in the district, the original Aagrah can be found in Shipley (a couple of miles from the University main campus). They now have 14 restaurants and cafes spread throughout Yorkshire - with five branches in the Bradford area.
