The National Student Survey (NSS) is now entering its fifth week. Response rates for many courses are behind where they were at the same point during last year's survey and so members of staff are reminded to encourage all final year students to complete the survey. The University is aiming for a minimum 70% response rate across all schools and needs a 50 percent response for any courses entries to be valid. Good NSS Scores can help protect the University’s future affecting our league table positions and promoting us to potential students. To help encourage students to complete the survey staff can:
Display the NSS PowerPoint slides available on the intranet at the start or end of lectures http://www.brad.ac.uk/nss/media/NSS/NSS_2010_Presentation_Slides_English.ppt
Utilise 10 minutes at the start or end of computer room based sessions to ask students to complete the survey
Contact Mark Dolby, Internal Communications Officer if you require any further promotional materials or support (m.dolby@bradford.ac.uk)
Latest response rates are now on the intranet at www.bradford.ac.uk/nss
Members of staff are encouraged to promote the Study China Programme (external link, Word doc) to students and support them by completing the online reference form.
