Excellence Plus Mini Conference

Implementing The Bradford Approach To Learning And Teaching
Date: Wednesday 18 June 2003
Venue: Mezz1 The Graduate School, Richmond Building
Time: 10.00am - 4.00pm

Following last year's successful Mini-Conference, the second Mini Conference will be held on 18 June 2003. The Excellence Plus strategy is being implemented across the University. The strategy sets out the University's distinctive approach to Learning and Teaching and identifies the unique qualities of the Bradford experience as a strength that the University should actively encourage and promote.

This year's Mini-Conference is the major dissemination event for Excellence Plus in 2003. It provides an opportunity for participants to share experience and good practice, as well as being a forum to exchange up-to-date information on Excellence Plus plans for the future.

A major element of Excellence Plus concerns the introduction of Higher Education Progress Files integrated with work on Key Skills, the Virtual Learning Environment and Work-Based Learning.

The Mini-Conference will have morning and afternoon sessions with presentations from various Schools and others. There will be opportunities for open discussion with colleagues as well as a plenary talk on national developments by Rob Ward, Head of The Centre for Recording Achievement. A buffet lunch will also be provided.

If you are interested in attending this event, please complete the form below and return to Teaching Quality Enhancement Group by Wednesday 11 June 2003 or email tqe-sec@bradford.ac.uk.

A more detailed programme will be sent to participants nearer the time. For further information, see:- http://www.brad.ac.uk/excellenceplus and select "News and Events".
