They join Professor Grace Alderson who is Pro-Vice-Chancellor with responsibility for Resources - appointed from 1 August 2001 for a period of 3 years, to 31 July 2004.

15 January 2002 in Room 01.58 - Time 3.30pm - 4.45pm In this interactive seminar, Dr Gilly Salmon will address some of the key features that make a successful online e-moderator and there will be an opportunity to ask questions and discuss the issues. Gilly researches and publishes extensively on online teaching and learning and is the author of the extremely successful book "e-Moderating: the key to teaching and learning online". Gilly Salmon is a Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Information & Innovation at the Business School of the UK Open University and Visiting Professor at School of Economics and Management, Queens University, Belfast. New MIS website Management Information Services (MIS) have just unveiled their new website. The new site is much more user friendly and offers a useful Frequently Asked Questions section, designed to help staff with their PC problems. The site also contains news from the department, reports and plans for the future, as well as a contacts list and information about the services MIS provide.
