For all staff

This questionnaire forms part of a research project carried out by the University of Bradford on behalf of Bradford Environmental Action Trust (BEAT).

The research aims to:

  • Identify the reasons for, and barriers to using public and private transport amongst university students and staff; and
  • Identify possible incentives and/or initiatives to overcome these barriers with the aim of reducing the use of private vehicles.

We would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to fill in the following questionnaire. It is in pdf and word format. Please print it out, fill it in and send it back by Thursday 21 February to N. Ashra, Postgraduate student, Environmental Science, Pheonix Building.

The next BBC Northern Exposure workshop is on Thursday 21st February 6pm - 9pm at Theatre in the Mill: Beyond Dialogue How do you write for more than two voices? The BBC's Radio Drama Writer in Residence will show you how she does it - and encourage you to have a go.

Call Jonathan Bowers on 020 7765 2703 to reserve your FREE place.

The Recorder Group is in concert in the Richmond Foyer on Wednesday 27th February at 12 noon and 1pm. Presented by the Tasmin Little Music Centre, the concerts are free - just turn up, take a seat, and enjoy.

ACADEMICS TAKEN HOSTAGE! for a theatrical experiment - see the results in GAG on Wednesday 20th February at 7.30pm at Theatre in the Mill. A quartet of dubious academics embark on an experiment, mixing labcoats with balaclavas and bungling their way through this seriously funny show. Hostage Tony frustrates their best ambitions by refusing to react, leading to discarded ethics and violent acts. This show depicts some violent scenes, and its humour is very black. Not for the fainthearted.

New season of exhibitions in Gallery II. See www.bradford.ac.uk/arts for details.

For more information on any arts events contact Lara Gisborne on ext: 3185 or email: arts-admin@bradford.ac.uk, and see www.bradford.ac.uk/arts
