Following an inspection by the Water Regulations Office of Yorkshire Water several areas of non-compliance regarding the Water Regulations have been identified.

As an interim measure to ensure the safety of our water supplies it will be necessary to remove all hoses from laboratory water taps as soon as practically possible.

If there are problems complying with this requirement, or you have any queries regarding this request, please contact Russell Smith, Estates Manager Engineering on ext 3496 or Keith Maven, Mechanical Maintenance Officer on ext 3437.

We will be meeting with Yorkshire Water as soon as possible to agree a more practical solution to the non-compliance issues.
