Experts Directory

The University's Press Office receives a wide and varied range of media requests, many of which are concerned with sourcing experts for press comment/interviews/feature pieces.

In order to improve our efficiency and effectiveness, we are compiling a central register of expertise which will ultimately be accessible via the web (N.B. Home and mobile numbers will not be included on the web version) If you would like to be included in the Experts Directory, all you need to do is fill out a simple form.

The forms are available for printing on the web at www.bradford.ac.uk/admin/pr/experts or telephone ext: 3084 for a hard copy.

Forms, hard copy or email attachments, should be returned to Rachael Ellis, Corporate Communications, Room D19, Richmond Building or email press@bradford.ac.uk

Please note, once returns are gathered, data will be checked with Deans of Schools to avoid any anomalies/inaccuracies. If you have any queries please ring Rachael Ellis on ext: 3084.

From TQEG

Definitive Course Documents
This apparently arcane phrase is frequently heard in University circles when programme design is a topic of discussion. As the University has developed its regulations and responded to external changes, the exact nature of such documents has changed over the years. Consequently there may be some uncertainty about the current form of a Definitive Course Document. However, help is at hand. The Academic Standards and Support Unit has developed a guide for those new to developing such paperwork, or for old hands that may be getting a little out of touch. The guide is to be found at: www.brad.ac.uk/admin/acsec/QA_Hbk/QAH3_2.html

Old hands may note that access is not recorded, so no one will know you had to remind yourself. Chris Alder/Jon Owen

ILT Second Year Membership
If you joined the ILT over a year ago, you will have been sent your second year renewal request. You do not have to pay this yourself as the University will pay your first two year's costs.

Please send your invoice to TQEG, 01.59, JBPL, and we will take care of the rest.

For further details contact TQEG on ext: 3286 or email: b.j.lyons@bradford.ac.uk
