Beat the Stress, from Helen Crabtree, Staff Development Stress
Management Course This 4-day course is being run by Helen Turner-Desai from the Centre for Continuing Education. The aim of the course is to develop your knowledge and awareness of the cause, effect and management of stress situations in both work and non-work environments. We cannot always eliminate stress from our lives but we can change the way we react to it. Through a variety of learning methods, you will examine practical strategies and positive approaches to deal effectively with the stresses in your life. The course covers topics such as:
The course is open to all staff and is offered as part of the Centre for Continuing Education's Certificate in Personal and Professional Development Programme.
