  • Is your site ready for Clearing? Will it entice or repel prospective students?
  • Can you find what you are looking or on the University web site? If not, have you reported that the information cannot be found?
  • Will your Web site meet legal requirements from September 2002?

Open Day Business Cards

Small cards giving details of the forthcoming Open Day have been circulated around departments. If you are around and about could you please take a few of these cards and leave them somewhere for people to pick up. It is essential that we advertise our next Open Day as widely as possible - Saturday 6th July.

If you would like further copies of the card pleas email: l.isaac@bradford.ac.uk or ring Lynda on ext: 3034.

Many thanks for your help.

Yorkshire Electricity Electrical Shutdown

In order to enable essential maintenance work to be carried out on both the Yorkshire Electricity and the University's High Voltage equipment a complete shutdown of the electrical supply to the University Main Campus is necessary.

Arrangements have been made for this to take place on Saturday 27th July 2002 and in consequence there will be no electricity supply to any of the buildings on the Main Campus, from approximately 0800 hours to 1700 hours.

As a precaution against possible loss or corruption of information it may be advisable to "power down" all file servers and computer equipment on Friday 26th July 2002 and leave them switched off over the weekend.

For further details contact Colin Overton, Electrical Supervisor, ext: 3425.
