New Finance website, from the Finance web team

We are currently redeveloping the Finance and Purchasing websites to make them far more user friendly, in the hope that staff will be able to find the information that they need quickly and easily. To do this we need your help. We want to know what you use the Finance and Purchasing sites for, or what you would like to use the sites for?

Tell us what information you usually get from Finance and Purchasing and we will do our best to make sure that this is the information you can find easily.

Please send your suggestions and comments to content-manager@bradford.ac.uk or ring ext 6529. We aim to have the site redesigned by the middle of October so hurry! Many thanks.

For all members of staff involved in the development, approval and advertising of new courses and units.

Some changes have been made to the University's procedures for the approval of new courses and units, and changes to existing courses and units. These changes take effect in the 2001/02 session.

A handbook which explains the new procedures is available at www.brad.ac.uk/admin/acsec/QA_Hbk/QAH3_1.html. The new procedures require the preparation of a Programme Specification and supporting annexes for all new courses from the 2001/02 session. Advice on how to take these procedures into account is available from the Academic Standards and Support Unit.

Contact details are provided at www.brad.ac.uk/admin/acsec/index.html. Advice on the budgetary aspects of proposals is available from Planning. Contact details can be found at www.brad.ac.uk/admin/planning/.

A Learning Support Seminar will be provided to explain the new system on Wednesday 24 October 2001, from 12.45pm - 2.00pm in the JB Priestley Building, Level 01. See the pdf file at www.brad.ac.uk/acad/tqeg/Programmes/Excellence_plus.pdf for a copy of the schedule and booking form.
