Consultation on Generic Minor Qualifications The Academic Policy Committee is consulting about whether colleagues would find it helpful for the University to develop a enabling framework (Ordinance and Regulations) for a number of generic, minor awards. A number of HEIs already offer such awards, which are intended to be highly accessible and to appeal primarily to students who are returning to higher education, particularly in the context of work-based learning. The consultation document can be found at: http://www.brad.ac.uk/admin/acsec/assu/information.html All staff are welcome to send responses to the consultation to Lynn McVey, Academic Standards and Support Unit, email L.McVey@bradford.ac.uk. The deadline for responses is 26 April, 2002. |
